The Position (Immediate start)
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced Nurse and Midwife with excellent interpersonal skills and an overall commitment to women’s health.
Work with an established dedicated Nursing team in providing various midwifery services, including delivery suite and be able to assist in the paediatrics and general medical surgical wards when required.
Fulltime, Part time and Short-Term Placement positions available with access to salary packaging benefits.
About You
You will bring extensive background knowledge in all areas of midwifery nursing, with skills and experience to make a difference in providing quality care to the following areas:
- Antenatal/Pre-Natal care
- Postnatal Care
- Birth Suite
- Special Care Nursery
You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be passionate about the role, and be an energetic and confident leader for other team members.
The Location
Gippsland Region, Victoria, approximately 200km from Melbourne city. Located near some of Victoria’s spectacular national parks, camping sites and historic towns.
Essential Criteria
- Dual AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse and Midwife
- Minimum of Grade 2 role – experience required, not suitable for New Grad
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Approachable personality to enable you to act as resource person for all learners and staff
- Display a “Can Do” attitude
- Attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
About the Client
The client provides midwifery services, which includes antenatal, labour and delivery, post-natal care. This public health service serves an immediate population of approximately 42,000 in the Gippsland region.
