The Position
Your role as a Registered Midwife is to use best practice evidence to provide women-centered maternity care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-admission
- Antenatal admissions and monitoring for at risk conditions
- Birth suite
- Postnatal care Domiciliary care
- IV Medication administration
- Comprehensive wound care management
- Personal Care assistance
- Patient transfers and transportation
Essential Criteria
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and Midwife
- Dual Qualification essential
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- A good understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
