The Position
We have a rewarding management opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced Midwife with a commitment to women's health and maternity services.
Your extensive background and knowledge in midwifery nursing will ensure you are a confident leader and will be able to work in a fast-paced sometimes challenging but satisfying environment.
You are committed to providing the highest quality care across all areas of maternity, including delivery suite, antenatal, postnatal and nursery. This role has a strong focus on being able to lead a team and confidently make decisions to improve the operations of the maternity unit.
You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be passionate about the role, and be energetic to make a difference.
The Location
This opportunity is located in a vibrant regional area of NSW, over 350km north-west of Sydney.
Essential Criteria
- Registered midwife with AHPRA registered
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maternity Unit Manager
- Post graduate or management qualifications highly regarded
- Must have recent leadership experience
- Skills in budget management and information technology
- Up to date with current policies and practices
