The Position

As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, implementing and evaluating evidence based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for our patients
  • Supervising and delegating to other health professionals such as Enrolled Nurses and Students
  • Recognising and responding appropriately to unsafe or unprofessional practice
  • Documenting all aspects of care, analyses and interprets data accurately utilising the organisations clinical patient information and documentation systems

 

The Location

Located in west Victoria, next door to the Grampians National Park.

 

Essential Criteria

  • At least 12 Months working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with no practicing restrictions
  • Ability to work across a 7 day roster inclusive of day, afternoon and night shifts
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • A genuine investment in our surrounding community and commitment to our values
  • A passion for nursing and dedicated to providing and enhancing quality nursing care every day
  • Commitment and accountability in regards to ongoing professional development and sharing these learnings with the multidisciplinary team
  • An understanding of quality and safety in conjunction with the National Safety and Quality Health Standards
  • Minimum 1 year post registration in an acute general medical/surgical ward
  • Experience in Urgent care / Emergency care is highly regarded
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS)
