Our Client, a well established Hospital known for its high level of professionalism and quality of care is looking for an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manger in Mental Health, Inpatient Unit. This role works closely with the Nurse Unit Manager in the operation of the Unit ensuring excellence in care delivery in line with hospital policies and procedures.
This role is for a Short Term Contract initially with a view to extend. Duration of Short Term Contract: 1 to 3 months.
The Location
REGIONAL: Located North West of Victoria
Essential Criteria
• Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
• Extensive clinical skills and experience within Mental Health
• Demonstrated management and decision making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Ability to lead and manage the health care team in the absence of the Manager
• Knowledge of and involvement in the Continuous Improvement process
• Post graduate studies in Mental Health
