The Position
As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Liaising with patient, patient’s family, medical and ancillary staff as required or requested
- Accurately documenting and observing resident care in accordance with health services guidelines
- Actively participating in unit meetings, Aged care documentation and training
- Administering medication in accordance with hospital procedures, protocols and policies
- Contributing to the dignity and quality of life of the residents within a safe and comfortable environment
The Location
Located in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Essential Criteria
- Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12months experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- All applicants must have minimum 2 years current nursing experience post registration
- Experience in Aged Persons Nursing, Dementia or Mental Health Nursing is desirable
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain
