The Position
As the Associate Midwifery Manager you will be responsible for:
- Integral part of the Maternity Services leadership group monitoring, evaluating and implementing strategies to ensure clinical excellence within the unit
- Be a key contact for other units throughout the organisation and will be expected to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with these stakeholders

Essential Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Minimum 12months working experience as a Registered Midwife in Australia
- Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical midwifery skill and experience including good assessment, problem solving and organisational skills
- A demonstrated high level of motivation and ability to provide effective family centred care in a complex maternity environment
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-focus especially with women and their families
