The Position
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Assuming In-Charge responsibilities in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager
- Caring for a diverse range of patients from post-acute care through to discharge
- Providing high quality, patient focused care and education
- Acting as a preceptor to all staff
- Contributing to ongoing ward improvement by participating in clinical risk management, patient safety and quality improvement activities
The Location
Work in a vibrant area just a few minutes from the Melbourne CBD with leafy green streets, modern restaurants and the Treasury Gardens close by.
Essential Criteria
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 12months experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Current rehab nursing experience and excellent clinical skills
- Additional qualifications in acute surgical is highly desirable, but not essential
- Excellent communication, time management skills and critical thinking ability
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
