The Position
As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking duties across both the acute and community haemodialysis service sites as required
- Assuming full responsibility for routine care for patients allocated under Primary Nursing model; assists with leave cover for other patients; works with PCC on holistic model of care
- Undertaking a comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment of clients, including the use of renal service approved and validated patient assessment tools
- Contributeing to care planning, involving clients, and demonstrates an understanding of clients’ rights to make informed decisions

Essential Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Minimum 12months working experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia or New Zealand
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to haemodialysis therapies
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Flexibility to operate in an environment of change and continuous improvement
- Computer literacy
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Renal Dialysis Nursing (desirable)
- Post graduate qualification in Renal Nursing (desirable)
