The Position
As the Associate Health Services Manager (ANUM equivalent) you will be responsible for:
- Providing primary health care services and recognised as a clinical leader within the team
- Overseeing the daily operations of the medical centre and will demonstrate clinical expertise to provide guidance, direction and supervision, to the primary care team at the prison
- Supporting the Health Service Manager in overall effectiveness and management of the clinical environment
The Location
Located in metro west Melbourne.
Essential Criteria
- Work off a rotating roster 7 days a week- both a mix of AM & PM shifts comprising of 8, 10 and 12 hours
- Registered General Nurse qualification
- Registration with the AHPRA
- Recent nursing experience in a senior clinical role
- Demonstrated ability to clinically lead a successful team in a primary healthcare setting
- Superior communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to assist and support the implementation of quality and change management initiatives and clinical projects
- Intermediate to advanced PC skills
- Minimum 12months working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
