The Position
As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Providing safe and efficient delivery of nursing care to patients and families within a multidisciplinary framework
- Ensuring that the wellbeing of the patient and family is the focus without prejudice. This includes assessment, planning and implementing care in consultation with the team leader/shift manager
- Providing assistance to colleagues on a daily basis and more broadly on the vision and values of the orthopaedic unit

Essential Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum 12months working experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Recent clinical experience (past 12 months) in an acute surgical or orthopaedic ward
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Flexible and motivated, ability to manage and lead change
- Clinically sound assessment, problem solving and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on person centred care
