The Position
As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Delivering holistic and individualised care and support to our patients and their families who are experiencing and living with cancer
- Planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for our patients
- Providing expert advice, direct care and support to patients and their families who attend the Oncology Unit
The Location
Located in west Victoria, next door to the Grampians National Park showcasing exceptional natural environment, enviable climate, bush walking, rock climbing, cycling, fresh air in the great outdoors, local wineries and a great local community.
Essential Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum 12months experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Be able to demonstrate advanced assessment skills
- Highly developed interpersonal communication and computer literacy skills
- Have experience in acute or a similar setting
- Postgraduate qualifications and previous experience in Oncology care is desired but not essential
