  • Full time and part time positions available
  • Relocation support and flexibility to work across a rotating 7day roster
  • Salary ranging $93000 - $97000 plus penalties

 

The Position

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for:

  • Providing optimal palliative care to patients and their families/carers which complies with the current edition of the Standards for Providing Quality Palliative Care
  • Assessing, providing advice, supporting and educating the individual, their carers and family and professionals involved in care
  • Providing direction and support for members of the health care team regarding treatment and care as well as arrange referral to other service providers as the need arises ensuring timely and appropriate support is available
  • Providing bereavement support in line with the Bereavement Support Standards under the guidance of the Bereavement Co-ordinator

 

The Location

Located in the north west of Victoria, approximately 3 and a half hour drive from Melbourne. It is a fantastic family location with tremendous schools, sporting facilities, restaurants all on the banks of the Murray River!

 

Essential Criteria

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 12months experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
  • Minimum 3yrs post completion of training
  • Excellent communication skills and recent experience in palliative care essential
  • Current Victorian driver’s license
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care is high desirable
