The Position
As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Providing primary healthcare services to patients, mental health assessments, “at risk”/SASH assessments and case management
- Ongoing monitoring of the client's mental state and well-being and treatment needs
The Location
Situated in the Northern suburbs, this facility offers an easy commute for candidates based in the CBD and inner suburbs the surrounding area.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor’s in nursing and Post Grad qualification in Mental Health is a must. (Applicants who have already started their Post Grad in Mental Health will also be considered. We will consider applications with extensive experience and willingness to complete a post grad qualification)
- Registration with the AHPRA
- At least 1 year’s post-qualification experience in Mental Health in Australia or equivalent, preferable in an acute/forensic setting
- Superior communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Proven experience dealing with complaints and incident management
- Ability to participate in the “at risk” on-call roster if required
- Intermediate to advanced PC skills
- Minimum 12months working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
