The Position
As the Nurse Educator you will be responsible for:
- Working alongside a committed team, you will be responsible for the professional development of all clinical staff as well as the planning and co-ordination of education programs (Transition, Upskilling and Post Graduate), seminars and workshops including those specific to the development of both new and current staff
- Working closely with dedicated clinical teams to deliver excellence in clinical care
- Imparting your knowledge and being receptive to new ideas and practices to grow the clinical workforce
The Location
An inner suburb of Melbourne, approximately 3km east of Melbourne's CBD. This area offers some of Melbourne's favourite restaurants and cafes, is in close proximity to the biggest sports scenes in Australia and has a range of shopping available.
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 12months experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- COVID19 Vaccinated
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in medical nursing (or relevant equivalent)
- Post Graduate qualifications (or other relevant equivalent)
- Current clinical working experience is essential
- Previous experience in education roles is desirable
- Having excellent organisational and communication skills
- Demonstrating strong leadership
