The Position

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Support the NUM to manage clinic operations to ensure governance and compliance regulations are met, and a high level of patient care is provided across the clinic
  • Provide supporting leadership in all clinical areas by ensuring high quality and empathetic nursing care to patients are in line with internal policies and procedures and best practice to ensure the best patient experience possible is achieved
  • Provide senior nurse leadership “on the floor” to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the patient journey

 

The Location

Located in Perth.

 

Essential Criteria

  • Have a passion for Women’s health
  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Knowledge of National Accreditation Standards and ACORN standards
  • Experience in day surgery, recovery, and women's health
  • Interest and experience in leadership role within clinical setting and leadership skills that promote a positive team culture
  • Experience achieving high clinical standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership skills that promote a positive team culture
  • Active and reflective listening skills with an understanding of how to provide empathetic care
  • Perioperative experience (desirable)
  • Ultrasound scanning skills (desirable)
  • Phlebotomy competency (desirable)
