The Position

As the Registered Mental Health Nurse you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and reviewing patient’s mental health care plans, in consultation with the patient
  • Providing primary Mental Health discharge planning
  • Providing primary health care support to patients, throughout their stay at the correctional facility

 

The Location

Located in central Victoria, 95km from Melbourne. On the doorstep of the Macedon Ranges, it's a ‘sleepy’ town with a big heart, charismatic country cottages and lovely wineries.

 

Essential Criteria

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA
  • Registered General Nurse qualification with a post graduate in Mental Health 
  • Minimum of 12 months Mental health Nursing within Australian Healthcare system
  • Recent nursing experience in a mental healthcare setting
