The Position
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager you will be responsible for:
- Being part of a Leadership team who are committed to delivering an exceptional patient, family and staff experience while achieving high-quality clinical outcomes within the critical care environment
- Leading the team through positive role modelling
- Demonstrating ability to confidently support and mentor junior staff
- Being highly accountable, respectful, supportive and engaging
- Maintaining a strong focus on patient and staff safety and wellbeing
The Location
Located an hours drive from Melbourne, Geelong offers a good lifestyle balance of the city life plus the peaceful town life. It has beaches and the Great Ocean Road near by, a diverse food culture and great primary and secondary schools.
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 12months experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- COVID19 Vaccinated or valid medical exemption
- Post graduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing
- Been working in a critical care environment for 3 years or more
- Previous ANUM role or have strong leadership experience
