The Position
As the Nurse Unit Manager you will be responsible for:
- As part of the perioperative leadership team, deliver an exceptional patient and staff experience within the theatre environment
- Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
- Leading a team through role modelling empathetic person centred care to patients, families, VMO's and staff
The Location
The Location Located an hours drive from Melbourne, Geelong offers a good lifestyle balance of the city life plus the peaceful town life. It has beaches and the Great Ocean Road near by, a diverse food culture and great primary and secondary schools.
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
- Have a contemporary knowledge of best practise in the theatre environment
- Previous NUM experience in Perioperative Scrub/Scout
- Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
- Be highly accountable and demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging style
