• Full time key clinical leadership role
• Be apart of the Leadership team working in spacious and modern facilities with 4 birthing suites, 4 Special Care Nursery cots, a post-natal ward and antenatal, lactation and domiciliary services with state-of-the-art equipment
• This unit has a strong focus on research, including a post graduate midwifery program launching in 2022

The Position

As the Maternity Services Manager you will be responsible for:

• Having a strong leadership presence and delivering an exceptional patient experience for all points of care
• Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
• Managing clinical risk and implementing process improvements to improve patient outcomes
• Working in collaboration with the midwifery team and the broader hospital leadership team to ensure patient care is integrated, safe, supportive and of high quality

Located an hours drive from Melbourne, Geelong offers a good lifestyle balance of the city life plus the peaceful town life. It has beaches and the Great Ocean Road near by, a diverse food culture and great primary and secondary schools.

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration
• Previous clinical leadership experience as a Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager
• Experience with innovation in midwifery models of care
