The Position

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Working collaboratively with the Unit Manager and the multidisciplinary team to facilitate and foster the provision of best practice standards of nursing care and service delivery that meets the needs of the Patients, their families and carers.
• Ensuring appropriate staff levels and skill mix for current and future shifts to facilitate safe patient care
• Providing effective leadership on a shift-by-shift basis to achieve the operational objectives of the department
• Discharge planning, including flagging admission assessment needs in liaison with multidisciplinary team and manage specialty portfolio

The Location

Located on Victoria's South Eastern coast and only a 90minute drive from Melbourne. You'll have wineries, fooderies, farms, Phillip Island tourist attractions, the Bunurong Coastal Drive, Wilsons Prom, and miles of beaches, right on your doorstep!

Essential Criteria

• AHPRA Registration
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical area of application
• Demonstrated leadership ability with a clear understanding of the managerial responsibilities of an Associate Nurse Unit Manager
• Communicates information and expectations clearly and concisely in a way that supports and builds effective and collaborative working relationships with all key stakeholders
