The Position
We are looking for an experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner to run a Nurse-led Emergency Department.
Your responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care with a willingness to show leadership and embrace change in the coordination and delivery of care
- Clinical Supervision and clinical accountability
- Attendance and participation in regular care reviews, supervision and case reviews to ensure seamless delivery of quality care
- Providing person-centered care at an advanced nursing practice level, incorporating diagnostic and treatment interventions using a high level of knowledge, skills and autonomy to achieve people focused quality care
- Rostering of staff
- Work across all Emergency Department Areas including: Short Stay, Triage and Resuscitation Bay
- Knowledge in immunisation schedules (Adults and children)
The Location
470ks South of Sydney central to the stunning Sapphire Coast, NSW
Please note: No relocation package is offered for this role
Essential Criteria
- RN with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner by AHPRA
- Masters certificate
- High level of confidence and clinical proficiency
- Ability to critically appraise and integrate relevant research findings in decision making
- High level of interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage and collaborate
