The Position
As the Registered Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Working predominately within Aged Care, but with the opportunity for acute experience
- Performing resident clinical care related activities to achieve and maintain a high standard of person centred resident care
- Working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster with the opportunity to work in charge
The Location
Located in Western Victoria, approximately 335km from Melbourne. With the Wimmera River hugging the town, lined with red gums and walking tracks. The small town is only 10 kilometres from the beautiful and famous pink lake, the most picturesque salt lake in Victoria.
Essential Criteria
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 12months experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Organisational experience congruent with experience
- Excellent Communication and problem solving skills
- Commitment to quality improvement and superior customer service
- Proficiency in the use of information technology
- Clinical Skills relevant to area (desirable)
- Aged care nursing experience (desirable)
