The Position
As the Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Manager to facilitate quality nursing care to our valued patients
- Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards
- Working closely with our VMOs and other members of the health team, to identify patient care needs, plan interventions and review outcomes of care
- Maintaining accurate and legally appropriate documentation of nursing services
- Being a strong role model, mentor and coach other registered nurse in excellent clinical practice
The Location
Located in metro Queensland. This area straddles the divide between urban and country living, with natural escapes, shopping hubs, modern dining establishments and entertainment venues.
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 12months working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Minimum of 5 years post registration experience
- Post graduate qualification in medical and/or rehab nursing / management or is working towards same (desirable)
- Experience and a comprehensive clinical knowledge, particularly to medical and rehabilitation related health issues with proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
- Your communication and interpersonal skills are sound and you are able to demonstrate your experiences interacting with a wide range of people
- Ability to show your strong leadership skills, build professional relationships but also work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
