The Position
As the Clinical Nurse you will be responsible for:
- Working within your scope of practice to ensure a high quality of nursing care is provided for all patients within the unit
- Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in the provision of excellence in Clinical Outcomes including initiatives to improve the safety and quality of clinical care whilst working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Being an advocate of our Building Excellence program
- Promoting a safe work environment
- Supporting day to day operational management including communication initiatives, hourly patient rounding, falls and pressure injury prevention, clinical bedside handover, effective management of the deteriorating patient and escalation of care when required.

Located in metro Gold Coast, in the coastal suburb packed full of fun attractions for the whole family, from relaxing beaches and gardens to thrilling amusement parks.
Essential Criteria
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 12months experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Extensive experience in the area of Surgical or Orthopaedic Nursing
- Develop Level 2 portfolio
- Demonstrate professional development
- Heading towards/or completed a Post Graduate or Master’s Degree
- Knowledge the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent team leading skills
- Flexibility with all shifts
