- Position Title: Level 2 Midwife PEP (Pregnancy Enhancement Program)
- This current role is involves Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm excluding weekends and public holidays
- Permanent positions for Midwives in the ACT

The Position
As the Registered Midwife, you will be:
- Responsible for coordinating safe and effective care to high risk antenatal women; postnatal women and babies in the immediate postnatal period; Women with drug and alcohol concerns, high risk mental health Pregnancy Enhancement program (PEP) including admissions through Emergency Department with early pregnancy concerns or persistent pelvic pain.
- Co-ordinate and provide direct care to women and their families across the antenatal & postnatal period, with the focus on women with drug & alcohol concerns. Within a multidisciplinary approach ensure clinical care is of the highest quality, consistent with current evidence and practice initiatives in the relevant area of speciality.
- In consultation with the multidisciplinary team, co-ordinate, plan and negotiate the planning of care for gynaecology, antenatal, postnatal women, babies as including delegating, prioritising and managing work time effectively.
- Provide a supportive educational environment to enable women and their families to make informed choices about their care. Act as a professional role model and resource person within a multidisciplinary health care team to achieve an agreed standard of care for women.
Essential Criteria
- Be currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
- Holds a IBCLC or working towards IBCLC
- Must hold current drivers license
